Joe Wilson is not only a commercial photographer and filmmaker; he is also a FAA licensed drone pilot. That skill comes in handy a lot more than one might think. In the old days we'd have to hire a helicopter, a pilot, and pay for a ton of fuel to get the same shots. This video was produced for Arch Precision, an internationally known maker of custom precision components and screw machine products. The client wanted to show off their state -of-the-art manufacturing facility in Banks, Oregon so we made them this short video completely shot from a drone.
